Cancellation and Refund
1 Can I cancel Internet bookings?
Yes. Only bookings made on silkair.com, which have not yet been flown, can be cancelled. You can seek a refund on silkair.com by choosing the 'Cancel Booking' feature after retrieving your booking (this feature is available to KrisFlyer members only and strictly pertain to bookings in fare classes that allow refunds. Please note that only bookings made using KrisFlyer log-in, can be retrieved. To retrieve your booking, please log-in with the same KrisFlyer number that was used). The 'Retrieve Booking' feature can be accessed from the top menu of silkair.com. The refund will be credited back to the credit card that was used for the purchase. The refund process may take 3 weeks.

For cancellation of partially-flown bookings, please contact your local SilkAir office. You can find the contact details on the Contact Us page of this website. Please cancel your bookings at least one day before flight departure to avoid the no-show fee penalty.

2 Will there be a refund for cancellation of tickets booked on the Internet?
The refund is subjected to the specific terms and conditions shown on the website at the time of online purchase. Certain tickets, particularly highly discounted, promotional ones, come with more restrictive terms and conditions and are usually non-refundable.
3 Why are cancellation fees imposed?
Cancellation fees are imposed on certain itineraries due to the administrative processes that have to take place to process a cancellation. This is also to dissuade users from abusing the online booking system as they may deprive genuine customers from getting their desired seat and flight availability.
4 What are the modes of payment for refunds?
Refunds will only be made to the credit/debit cards used for the booking.
5 What happens if the person(s) I have purchased the tickets for, does not travel?
Please call or write in to inform us. If the purchased tickets are eligible for refund, we will credit back the refund amount to the credit card that was used for the purchase. You will still be liable for cancellation fees and/or any related charges for the ticket. The refund process may take 4-6 weeks.

For refund on tickets originating from SilkAir destinations except Singapore, please contact our respective Overseas Town Offices directly.

6 I have already flown part of my booked itinerary. Can I cancel my remaining itinerary?
Yes, this is to avoid the no-show fee incurred. However, a refund value (if any) on the unused ticket sector will be subject to the ticket's terms and conditions. You may cancel your unused sector and determine the refund value (if any) of your ticket by enquiring with your local SilkAir office.
