Why is the fare quoted higher than that quoted by my travel agent?
SilkAir's Internet Booking offers a variety of fare levels for the same itinerary with different travel restrictions. From time to time, we will also launch special promotions with attractive fares. When there are no longer seats available at these special Internet fares, the system may offer you an unrestricted published fare that has minimal or no restrictions on travel dates, purchase dates, minimum number of days of stopover, maximum number of days of stopover, etc. Under certain circumstances, you may even use the ticket for travel on other airlines. Such published fares are usually priced at a higher level, as they allow for greater flexibility. |
