India - Coimbatore
Coimbatore is any entrepreneur's dream. It remains a city where family bonds are strong and a fusion of the traditional and the modern is the secret of success. The region’s rich black soil which contributed to the city’s flourishing agrarian economy, was later the very foundation for the establishment of its famous textile industry. The result? A solid economy and a reputation as one of the greatest industrial centres in South India.

For travellers, Coimbatore is largely a transport junction, a convenient stop to head to the famed hill stations of Ooty or Kodaikanal. That may change though. The city – known as India’s motorsports capital - is home to a Formula 3 circuit and several Go Kart circuits, hosts national rallies throughout the year and is tipped to host India’s first F1 race in the near future.
