Attending to your every needFor passengers with special dietary requirements such as medical or religious reasons, we offer a selection of special meals.
Baby, Infant and Child Meals
You can make a Special Meal request through our website, at least 24 hours before your flight departure out of Singapore. Alternatively, place your order through our reservations office (65 - 6223 8888) or your travel agent. As most special meals are specially prepared by our culinary experts in Singapore, for Singapore bound flights, we may need up to 32 hours notice before your flight departure (56 hours for KSML and NFMLA).
Meals are available on all SilkAir and Singapore Airlines operated flights, except SilkAir flights between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Passengers with nut allergy
Should you require a nut-free special meal, please contact your travel agent or your local SilkAir office to arrange for a nut-free special meal at least 48 hours before flight departure.
We are unable to guarantee a nut-free in-flight environment. Firstly, nuts and nut-derivatives are commonly used in the preparation or manufacturing of inflight meals world-wide (except for Nut-Free Special Meal). Secondly, we are also unable to prevent passengers from bringing and consuming their own nut-products on-board our flights.
Once again, we request that you take all necessary precautions bearing in mind the risk of exposure. If you have any concerns about your fitness to travel, we recommend that you discuss your travel plans with your doctor.
Lastly, due to the heightened security environment, passengers should obtain a doctor’s certification for their medication or syringe. All medication should be professionally labelled with passenger’s name and clearly identified to eliminate any difficulties passing through security check-points.
